Jesus has justified you.

Did you know that assuming you can be good enough to earn or pay for what Jesus freely offers leaves an open door for condemnation to enter into your heart? The feeling of not being good enough or not doing enough good destroys peace. However, by having faith in what Jesus alone accomplished at the cross, you can find and live in peace with God.

When you begin to understand the truth that Jesus has justified you, and the only thing required of you is to believe Him by faith, your heart will find peace. It is important to realize that there is nothing you can do, in the flesh, to earn this gift.

Jesus is God made manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16 ). He was in right standing with God, perfect and Holy and without sin. Yet Jesus became sin for you and me. Second Corinthians 5:21 says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

If Satan would have known that killing Jesus would allow Him to come and live in the hearts of man, and they would live forever as the righteousness of God, he never would have crucified Him.

Colossians 2:9-11 says, “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ.”

You have been given the fullness of Christ who is the head of every power and authority, and you have been circumcised in putting off the old sinful nature!

In Ephesians 2:18 we read, “For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.” And Ephesians 3:12 tells us, “In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”

Through faith in Jesus you may approach God with freedom and confidence! You can walk with God because you are a son/daughter and an ambassador of the kingdom… full of His righteousness and holiness!

Colossians 1:26-27 reminds us that although the mystery was kept hidden for ages and generations, it is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. God has chosen to make known the glorious riches of this mystery… which is Christ in you, the hope of glory!

As you renew your mind to these truths, you will find peace in your relationship with God. Praise Jesus!
