Consider the truth of God’s Word.

All of us were given the faith of God (God’s kind of faith) in our born-again spirits at the moment of salvation. As we renew our minds to the scriptures regarding faith, we see the truth of our ability to act as Jesus did, and call those things that are not as though they are.

The Kingdom of God is within us.

Because we are now in Christ and the Kingdom is within us (Luke 17:21) we can begin to operate in faith. The truth is, God gave us everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:3). Everything that we will ever need is available to us in the spirit, provided by grace, and accessed by faith.

Christ, the hope of glory.

You see, Christ is the Hope of Glory and He lives in every born-again believer. We have been reconciled—brought back—to eternal life. We are now in a position to walk out this new covenant with confidence because we are joined unto the Lord and able to loose the Kingdom of God here on this earth (Matthew 16:19).

We live by the faith of the Son of God.

Stepping into our son-ship means taking our authority, along with God’s power working within us, and moving in it by the faith of God. Paul said, “The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). So today as Christians, in this new covenant walk, we should do the same.

Acknowledge the truth, and pray like Paul.

Pray like Paul prayed for Timothy, “That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1:6). A few of these good things include: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, forgiveness, and the power of the incorruptible seed. Ephesians 1:18-20 says, “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.” We have the same power that raised Jesus from the dead in our spirits!

Good things are activated by faith.

His great power will work in us to the degree that we operate in faith. Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God can do exceeding abundantly greater than anything we can ask or think… according to the power that works in us. By grace it is provided and by faith you activate God’s power within you.

Faith is real. Acknowledge it. Walk in it.
